Gracie has been serving on her very first case for 6 months. Although she is new in the CASA role, she has jumped right in and has done an incredible job advocating for a sweet 2-year-old and their family. Gracie sees the child every week at daycare and notes that he is always happy to see her. The two will often share a hug when it is time for Gracie to say goodbye. Gracie has gone above and beyond in building a beautiful relationship with the child's parents as well. She provides transportation to court and therapy, and will even supervise family time so that the child can see his father on a regular basis.
