Carmel was sworn in as a CASA with Voices for Children in August 2015. Shortly after her swearing-in, she eagerly took on her first case. Over the years, Carmel has served as a CASA on six different cases, advocating for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. Her ability to connect with and support children and families in a variety of circumstances showcases her compassion and unwavering commitment to the CASA role.

Currently, Carmel is serving on a case involving an infant, where she has gone above and beyond by assisting the family with transportation, providing support, and connecting them with numerous resources. Carmel’s comprehensive approach reflects her deep understanding of the complex needs of the children and families she serves.

Throughout her nine years of service, Carmel has consistently exemplified what it means to be an outstanding CASA. Her dedication to ensuring that children’s voices are heard and their needs are prioritized has made her an invaluable member of Voices for Children.
