Emily was sworn in as a CASA in 2011 and is currently serving on her 30th case! Wow! On her current case, she serves as the advocate for a 2-year-old little girl. Emily attends court multiple times a month, attends visitation to observe how the child and mom interact, transports the child to her visitation, spends time with the biological mom and kinship family, and does a wonderful job advocating for this little one's best interest in every interaction she has with the professional team. Emily is a kind, compassionate, thoughtful and detailed CASA, making her extremely efficient and effective in her advocacy. She keeps the best interest of the children at top of mind and she makes a great impact in all of her work. Truly, we wish we had a hundred of her! Emily, thank you for your dedication to your role as a CASA and for the ways you serve each child you are appointed to. You have changed the lives of many children and families in our community and we are so inspired by your work!
