Our July CASA of the Month is Madison Weskamp! Madison has been a volunteer with Voices for Children, CASA of Boulder County for almost five years, and has served on multiple cases involving children and youth of different ages. From the start, Madison was drawn to VFC because she wanted to give back to her community and was interested in learning more about the child welfare system as she considered becoming a foster parent in the future. Over the years, she has continued to advocate for the best interests of the children and families in our community.

Throughout her time as a CASA volunteer, Madison has demonstrated deep commitment and compassion for the children she serves. She has built meaningful relationships and become a source of support in her cases. Madison is currently assigned to an older teen and has been an incredible resource throughout the case. She has shown up consistently, ensuring that the youth’s voice is heard and that her wishes and best interests remain at the forefront of every recommendation. Her dedication goes beyond the courtroom as she works with her teen to build life skills and prepare her for adulthood. Most recently, Madison and her youth have been working together to study and prepare the youth to obtain her driver’s permit!

Madison, thank you for your passion and dedication as a CASA volunteer. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are grateful to have you. Here's to many more years of making a difference, and congratulations on being our July CASA of the Month!
