As we enter June and recognize National Reunification Month, we celebrate the strength and resilience of families working to heal, grow, and reunite. At Voices for Children, CASA of Boulder County, we know that children thrive when they are connected to safe, stable, and loving families and communities. Reunification, when it can be achieved safely, is often the best possible outcome for children involved in the child welfare system.

Our CASA volunteers play a vital role in supporting this process. By building trusted relationships with children, advocating for their best interests, and collaborating with families, service providers, and the courts, CASAs help ensure that children’s voices remain at the center of every decision. Advocacy is not only about navigating challenges — it is also about recognizing strengths, encouraging progress, and helping families access the resources they need to succeed together.
