Dear Friends,
We are deeply grateful to our community for showing up in such a meaningful way to support our Night of Hope last month. Because of your generosity and presence, we were able to raise critical awareness for our mission, celebrate and honor our incredible volunteers, and generate vital funding to continue advocating for children in kinship and foster care. As we move into May, National Foster Care Month, we are reminded that this work is only possible because of a compassionate community like ours.
At Voices for Children, this month holds deep meaning. Every day, we see firsthand the impact that consistent, compassionate advocacy can have in a child’s life. Our CASA volunteers stand beside children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their voices are heard, and their best interests remain at the center of every decision. During a time that can often feel uncertain, these relationships provide stability, trust, and hope.
National Foster Care Month is also a time to acknowledge the broader network—foster parents, caseworkers, attorneys, donors, and community partners—who work tirelessly to create safe, nurturing environments where children can heal and thrive. It takes all of us to build a system that not only protects children but uplifts them.
This month, we invite you to continue supporting our work. Whether it’s becoming a CASA volunteer, spreading awareness, or supporting our mission, your involvement helps ensure that every child has someone in their corner.
Thank you for standing with us and for believing in a future where every child has the opportunity to grow up safe, supported, and heard.
Night of Hope 2026
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Night of Hope on April 29. Our community came together for a powerful and inspiring evening, raising more than $470,000 in support of our mission. Night of Hope plays a critical role in sustaining VFC’s programs. As an independent 501(c)(3), we rely on community support to fund this vital work.
The audience heard from Voices for Children CEO, Margaret Bachrach, and District Attorney and Board Member, Michael Dougherty. The evening's keynote Tad Boyle, spoke about the lasting impact CASA advocacy had on his life. We also shared Tristan and Nia’s story—an emotional and courageous video that sheds light on the difference a CASA volunteer can make. You can watch their story here.

Corwin Toyota Fundraiser
We’re excited to partner with Corwin Toyota Boulder this May! For every new vehicle sold, they’ll donate $50 to support our mission. If you’ve been considering a new car, this is a great time to check out Corwin Toyota Boulder.
In the News: Voices for Children Featured in BizWest
Voices for Children, CASA of Boulder County was recently highlighted in BizWest’s Nonprofit Spotlight, recognizing our work to ensure children who have experienced abuse and neglect have a dedicated advocate by their side. The feature emphasizes the life-changing impact of having one consistent adult supporting a child through the court system, as well as our continued efforts to expand prevention programs like our Truancy Prevention initiative to reach children earlier.
We’re grateful to be recognized and proud to be part of a community committed to showing up for children when it matters most. Read the article here.
Night of Hope Vendors
We are grateful to recognize our May Community Partners for their generous support of our 2026 Night of Hope fundraiser. The Limelight Hotel graciously hosted this special evening, creating a warm and welcoming space for our community to gather. Rylie Behr of Behr Benefits kept the fun going with her lively auctioneering. Casa Caliente, Wild Provisions Brewing, Suerte Tequila, and Kures Craft Beverage Co. enhanced the event by donating beverages that helped make the night truly memorable.
Their partnership and generosity play an important role in advancing our mission, and we are thankful to have them standing with Voices for Children.
